Hannah, Charlie, Carrie and Georgia all qualified in September to represent the North West Region at the National Age Group Finals. Hannah and Carrie competed in the level 2 competition on the Sunday, with Charlie in the level 4 and Georgia in the level 4 on the Saturday. It was a long weekend, however the results were worth it!! The girls competed very well after a nervy start to their competition on assymmetric bars. Next year our gymnasts vaulting scores will be greatly enhanced as we now have a vault and a long run at our new location, (this has been a big limitation to the level 2 girls).

Charlie achieved 1st on Beam and 8th on Bars,

with an overall ranking of 8th for the 9yrs gymnasts on the day.

This was Charlie's first National Final

Georgia was ranked 4th in the North West team when they qualified in September, which improved to 2nd within the North West team on the day.

Overall ranking of 35th for the 10yrs gymnasts for the day.

This was Georgia's first National Final

This was Carrie's first Voluntary National Final

Hannah achieved 4th on Beam and 17th on Floor,

with an overall ranking of 24th for the 11yrs gymnasts on the day.

Georgia had a good day at the Level 3 event, however, her final position didn't reflect the progress that she has made in the last 6 months. Her physical preparation will eventually be rewarded by good competition results.

In the Level 2 competition, Hannah and Carrie after a very nervy start on floor showed the progress they had made in their skill learning and stability. Beam rewarded them with their highest result a  = 4th. Both girls stuck their flip layouts and back saltos. Had Hannah stuck her free walkover she would have achieved her first medal placing.
